FCI
Fédération Cynologique Internationale
The FCI is an international federation that represents purebred dog clubs and federations from over 100 countries around the world. Each country's kennel club or federation that is a member of the FCI operates according to the FCI's rules and regulations for the breeding, registration, and showing of purebred dogs. The FCI serves as a central authority for coordinating and harmonizing international dog-related activities and events, including breed standards, dog shows, trials, and other competitions. By bringing together national kennel clubs under a common umbrella, the FCI aims to promote and preserve the integrity, health, and well-being of purebred dogs while facilitating international cooperation and exchange of information among its member organizations.
